hi! this is just to say that i'm not dead... yet. but school is taking care of that.

i've been really busy with acads and org activities. my profs are demanding, but awesome, so i'm enjoying my classes. i'm also starting my thesis this sem, and i haven't decided on a primary text yet.>_> i have my eyes on ursula le guin's earthsea cycle or william goldman's princess bride and its movie adaptation though.

i wanna draw, but i never have the time. all i can manage are a few doodles when the lecture gets boring.

on the other hand, i'm writing again! i took a creative nonfiction course (autobiographical writing) as an elective this sem. the genre i'm most comfortable with is fiction, so i find this a challenge. it's hard for me to expose myself and i have few memories i'd consider meaningful and relevant, so i find it kinda tough to think of things to write about. but i'm sure i'll learn a lot!

i'll update with a new deviation when i start getting more than eight hours of sleep a night. this past week i got no more than three. *sigh*
